Leaf Mold
Leaf mould is a fungus belonging to the subphylum Hemiptera, and its fungus is named Sclerospora flavescens.
Symptoms:
Leaf mould mainly damages leaves, and can also harm stems, flowers and fruits when it is serious. At the initial stage of the disease, oval or irregular pale yellow chlorotic disease spots appear on the leaf surface. At the back of the leaf, the white mold layer begins to grow, and then the mold layer becomes grayish brown to dark brown fluff, which is the conidiophore and conidia of the pathogen.
In serious cases, the whole leaf can be dried and curled, and the plant is yellow brown, and dry. After the fruit is infected, round black disease spots are formed near the peduncle, and the fruit is hardened and slightly depressed, causing a large number of fruits to fall off.
Occurrence regularity:
The leaf mold fungus overwinters with the hyphae attached to the seed surface and invading the seed coat, and the hyphae and spores remaining and attached to the diseased residue, frame materials and soil.
The disease is easy to occur and spread when the relative humidity is above 90%, while humidity is an important factor affecting the occurrence of diseases.
