Over the past twenty years, we have been deeply involved in pesticide research and technological achievements. Focusing on pesticide research and development, production, and sales, providing reliable agricultural protection solutions for domestic and international markets.
Key Features
1. Promotes Active Ingredient Penetration
This product helps pesticide active ingredients penetrate into the target (such as plants or pests), making it a key adjuvant for preparing highly penetrative pesticide formulations.
2. Acts on Target Surface Layers
It works by dissolving or breaking down the waxy layer on target surfaces and relaxing the cuticle layer, reducing resistance to penetration and allowing the solution to efficiently enter internal tissues.
3. Wide Variety
Common types include fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (JFC), Rapid Penetrant T (sodium di-octyl sulfosuccinate), Nitenpyram (lauryl nitrile herbicide), organosilicon compounds (siloxane polyoxyethylene ether), alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ethers and their phosphate or sulfate salts, sulfonated castor oil, and others.
Performance and Uses
1. Significantly Increases Penetration Rate
This product can greatly improve the speed and efficiency of solution penetration through the target’s epidermis into internal tissues. For example, using 1% Avermectin EC (diluted 1000 times) on cabbage leaves takes over 8 hours to reach 50% penetration; adding Penetrant JFC (200 mg/L) reduces the time to just 4 hours, more than doubling penetration efficiency. It’s especially suitable for systemic pesticides, helping active ingredients enter plants or pests fully to maximize their bioactivity.
2. Reduces Pesticide Use and Delays Resistance
By enhancing penetration, this product significantly reduces the amount of active ingredients needed while maintaining efficacy. For example, adding 0.2% mineral oil as a tank mix adjuvant to the biopesticide Milbemectin (active ingredient 2 mg/L) on cotton seedlings increased whitefly adult mortality from 29% to 96% after 3 days. At the same level of effectiveness, this can reduce pesticide use and applications, lower costs, and slow down the development of pest resistance.
3. Improves Solution Adhesion and Rain Resistance
It enhances solution spread, adhesion, and suspension, reducing spray blind spots. This is especially noticeable on crops with hairy or smooth leaves, like cucumbers, eggplants, tomatoes, melons, garlic, potatoes, soybeans, and cabbage. It shortens penetration time, strengthens adhesion to target surfaces, and improves rain resistance, so a rain shortly after spraying doesn’t require reapplication.
4. Minimizes Evaporation Loss
This product helps prevent rapid evaporation under hot, sunny conditions, which can reduce efficacy and increase phytotoxicity risk. It ensures more stable performance with less waste.
5. Flexible Application Forms and Strong Compatibility
It can be added directly to pesticide formulations (EC, SC, ULV, etc.) as a component, or mixed in the tank with various products, suitable for insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, plant growth regulators, foliar fertilizers, and other agricultural chemicals.
Precautions
• This is an adjuvant component, so choose the proper Penetrant type based on target and formulation. Testing is recommended to determine optimal dosage and system compatibility.
• When used as a tank mix adjuvant, strictly follow recommended amounts; overuse may cause phytotoxicity or environmental risks.
• Some Penetrants (like certain organosilicons) have strong surface activity; ensure compatibility with spraying equipment.
• Use only agricultural-grade adjuvants specifically developed for farming; do not substitute industrial products.
• Enhance personal protection during spraying to avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• Store in a cool, dry, ventilated place, avoiding moisture. Reseal packaging after opening to prevent long-term air exposure and degradation.
