Pure product is a white odorless powder, boiling point 350°C, melting point 250-251°C, slightly soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents like xylene and acetone. The original powder contains 96% active ingredient, appears as a light yellow powder, has a slightly irritating odor, and is stable to acids, bases, and UV light. It is low in toxicity; it can significantly irritate rabbit eyes and corneas, causing corneal opacity that is irreversible, but it does not have this effect on human eyes. It can irritate the skin of a few people. Highly toxic to fish.

Chlorothalonil is a broad-spectrum, protective fungicide. Its mechanism of action involves interacting with glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase in fungal cells, binding to proteins containing cysteine in the enzyme, thereby destroying enzyme activity, disrupting fungal cell metabolism, and leading to cell death. Chlorothalonil does not have systemic translocation, but when sprayed on plants, it adheres well to the surface and is not easily washed away by rain, so it has a long-lasting effect.

Usage:
1. For controlling diseases in jujube, apple, and other fruit trees: spray from the first onset of disease until mid-August, every 10-15 days. Use 600-800 times dilution of chlorothalonil wettable powder + 1000 times “Tianda 2116” (fruit tree-specific) to prevent various fruit tree rots, downy mildew, anthracnose, brown spot, and powdery mildew. Alternate with other fungicides.
2. For controlling grape downy mildew, powdery mildew, and other fruit tree diseases: spray 700-800 times 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder + 1000 times “Tianda 2116” at the early stage of disease, every 7-10 days, repeat 2-3 times.
3. For preventing various vegetable diseases such as blight, downy mildew, and powdery mildew: start spraying at disease onset with 700-800 times 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder + 600 times “Tianda 2116” (melon and eggplant-specific), every 7-10 days, for 2-3 consecutive times.
4. Vegetable disease control: for tomato early blight, late blight, and downy mildew, at disease onset, spray 400-500 times 75% wettable powder per mu, repeat every 7-10 days. Can prevent downy mildew, powdery mildew, anthracnose, and blight in cucurbits; early and late blight, gray mold, leaf mold, etc., in tomatoes.

Note: Do not mix with alkaline pesticides like lime sulfur. FU and DP are best used when the leaf surface is dewy to enhance efficacy.
Recommended concentrations: 70% wettable powder 600 times dilution, 50% wettable powder 400 times dilution; 45% smoke 200-250 g/mu; 5% powder 1 kg/mu.
