Benziothiazolinone is a broad-spectrum fungicide, with the chemical name 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, and the trade name Junlimei.
The technical material is a light yellow powder, with a melting point of 158°C ± 1°C, and a water solubility of 4 g/L (20°C). The formulation is a light yellow liquid with a pH of 6-8. It works by destroying the cell nucleus of pathogens and interfering with their metabolism to kill them. The acute oral LD50 is 1100 mg/kg, making it a low-toxicity pesticide. Benziothiazolinone is registered for production in China, and formulations include emulsifiable concentrates and wettable powders. It features low residue and does not contain harmful elements like sulfur, chlorine, or mercury. It’s mainly used to prevent and control fungal and bacterial diseases like cucumber downy mildew, pear black spot, apple scab, and in late rice farming, it can prevent bacterial streak and bacterial leaf blight. The product achieves high-efficiency control at low concentrations, making it suitable for pollution-free agricultural systems.

During the fungicidal process, benziothiazolinone products can:
1. Destroy the pathogen cell nucleus, causing it to fail and die.

d. Low residue: People consume large amounts of vegetables, fruits, and agricultural products daily. Pesticide residues on these products can cause poisoning if accumulated, but benziothiazolinone products contain no harmful elements like S, Cl, or Hg, making them safe for humans and animals.
e. Safe to use: Benziothiazolinone products are emulsifiable concentrates with advanced formulations, good heat dissipation, eco-friendly, and non-polluting, making them the top-choice fungicide for pollution-free agriculture.
f. Dual effect of protection and eradication: Using it at the early stages of disease can effectively protect plants from pathogens. When the disease occurs, increasing the application can significantly control pathogen spread, achieving both protective and eradication effects.
