【Uses】Cymoxanil is a high-efficiency, low-toxicity fungicide, effective against oomycete fungi such as Peronospora, Plasmopara, and Pseudoperonospora. It is widely used in combination with other protective fungicides on cucumbers, grapes, tomatoes, lychees, cruciferous vegetables, tobacco, etc.
【Preparation or Source】Prepared from ethylurea via acylation and methylation. Stability: stable under general storage conditions and in neutral or weakly acidic media; loses 50% in soil over 7 days.
【Other】Vapor pressure 0.080 mPa (25℃, extrapolated).
【Toxicity】Low toxicity to humans and animals. Acute oral LD50 in rats: 562–1210 mg/kg (male), 459–1480 mg/kg (female). Acute dermal LD50 in rats >2000 mg/kg; non-irritating to skin; slightly irritating to eyes.
