Physical and Chemical Properties: Its hydrochloride form is white, needle-like or flaky crystals. m.p. 206–210°C (202–204°C, 236–239°C). Insoluble in methanol, ethanol, propanol, benzene, and many other organic solvents, but easily soluble in water. Stable in acidic or neutral media, but easily destroyed and inactivated by alkali. At pH 5 and stored at 50°C for 10 weeks, its efficacy does not decrease, whereas at pH 9, efficacy drops to 42.6%.

Properties:
– The pure product is white, needle-like crystals, melting point 236–239°C (decomposes), hydrochloride melting point 202–204°C (decomposes). Easily soluble in water, poorly soluble in common organic solvents. Stable in acidic media, decomposes in alkaline media. Stable at room temperature.
– Dosage forms: Single preparations include aqueous solutions, wettable powders, and liquid forms; combined preparations include 50% Chunlei·Wang Copper Wettable Powder, 21.2% Chunlei·Tetrachlor Wettable Powder, etc.

Uses:
Microbial bactericide mainly used to prevent and treat rice blast disease. It is an systemic antibiotic formulation with both preventive and therapeutic effects. Also effective against cucumber anthracnose, sorghum anthracnose, and tomato downy mildew. Should not be mixed with alkaline pesticides when used.
